Summer Art Classes for Kids and Teens

Summer Drawing / Painting Classes

MORNINGS ONLY:  Drawing 9am - 12pm,  Mon. - Fri.

ALL-DAY CLASS:  Drawing 9am - 12pm, Painting 1pm - 5pm,  Mon. - Fri.

Morning drawing class focuses on basics of form and perspective. Regardless of the skill level, each student will be guided to her or his next step of development. Drawing sessions prepare all-day students for afternoon painting sessions. Pace is lively and fun!

Registrations for All-Day classes will have preference over Mornings Only.

SESSION #1:  June 19-23

SESSION #2: July 10-14

Fee includes materials. Bring lunch/snacks/drinks.


Sculpture / Mask Making Classes

MORNINGS ONLY:  Sculpture 9am - 12pm,  Mon. - Fri.

ALL-DAY CLASSES:  Sculpture 9am - 12pm, Mask Making 1pm - 5pm,  Mon. - Fri.

Morning sculpture class focus on simple, versatile techniques using wire, wood, cardboard and foil to create structure and form. Afternoon Sessions extend that process to create a full character or mask based on a imaginary creature, pet, photograph or drawing. Regardless of the skill level, each student will be guided to his or her next step of development. Morning skill sessions prepare all-day students for more advanced afternoon tasks. Fun and learning are seamlessly combined.

SESSION #4: July 17-21
